Often, yes. It depends on the condition of the storage, which is why we assess it before committing to anything. Data recovery is never guaranteed and we will give you an honest view of the chances before we start.

My laptop is very slow. Can that be fixed?

Frequently. Slow start-up and sluggish loading on an older laptop is often down to a mechanical hard drive or too little memory, both of which can usually be upgraded. Bring it in and we will check what your model supports.

How we do it

We test the existing battery health and charging behaviour to confirm the battery is the cause rather than a charging or software fault. The old cell is removed, a replacement is fitted, and we run a charge cycle test before returning the device. If you have a swollen battery, stop using the device and bring it in — swollen cells are a safety risk.
